High-potential synergy Transtecno – Reggiana

Transtecno and Reggiana Riduttori were selected and acquired by Interpump Group to create the Group’s Power Transmissions Division.

Two growing manufacturers, two companies with many aspects in common and complementary products.

Two companies that can create high-potential synergies in the near future. These synergies are essential to continue to grow.

Complementary products

Product synergies. Transtecno products range from small gearmotors in the MiniTecno range to industrial gearmotors in the IRON Series. Performance up to 3,500 Nm.

Reggiana Riduttori is known for the excellent performance of its planetary drives that cover torques up to 10 mln Nm.

Whilst the two manufacturers share some production techniques, the majority of products complement each other. This complementary allows the entire Business Unit to meet the application needs of many customers. In a growing number of sectors.

Apart from product synergies, there are important logistic and marketing synergies as well.

Logistic synergies

In the Americas, Reggiana Riduttori has a consolidated and widespread presence that will be greatly beneficial to popularize Transtecno gearmotors.

The Transtecno Brand will be developed in the US by RR USA Inc, an American branch of Reggiana Riduttori located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In these past few months, Leonardo Zanellotti, Product Manager for the US market, has been at Transtecno Italian HQ for a training to prepare him for the best market development.

Similarly, in Canada, we will work with RR Canada, based in Toronto, Ontario.

Vice versa, in Mexico, MA Transtecno SAPI de CV, based in Monterrey, will promote Reggiana’s products in the Country – through its excellent distribution network – and in the entire Central America, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia.
