DZ Division‘s right-angle bevel gearboxes are built with high-quality materials, design and technology entirely in Italy. For more than 30 years, the DZ range has been concerned with the power transmission of a rotary motion between two axes arranged at 90°.
DZ and ZP
The DZ and ZP right-angle bevel gearboxes are designed for industrial applications where a rotary motion of power must be transmitted between shafts arranged perpendicularly to each other. They are available in 9 different sizes and can be 2 or 3 output with a 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 transmission ratio. The casing is one-piece, rigid, aluminium alloy with 4 or 6 attachment planes. In addition to the standard series, there is a wide range of special versions available, according to customer drawings.
QB
QB series right-angle bevel gearboxes are available in 8 different sizes, five reduction ratios 1:1 – 1:1,5 – 1:2 – 1:3 – 1:4, shafts with diameter from 11 to 85 mm, hollow through shafts with diameter from 12 to 80 mm with keyway from 4 to 22 mm, or hollow shafts with UNI 8953 NT splined profile. Flanges with hollow shaft and key for electric motor connection are also available in B5 and B14 versions, from size 86 to 250. Power up to 1,074 kW, torque up to 9,516 Nm, rotation speed up to 3,000 rpm. The aluminium alloy case, made from drawn or cast aluminium, makes QB right-angle gearboxes lighter and more performing than conventional cast iron constructions.
BB
The BB series has been specially designed for applications requiring compactness and flexibility, such as automatic machines. They are available in two different sizes: Ø14 (3-way or 4-way) and Ø19 (3-way); 5 reduction ratios: 1:1 – 1:1,5 – 1:2 – 1:3 – 1:4; and 3 versions: hollow/hollow, male/hollow and male/male. The very compact aluminium casing provides complete and total protection of the gears and, together with the nilos rings, ensures optimum and long-lasting gear lubrication.
Fields of application
DZ right-angle bevel gearboxes can be used in a wide range of applications, thanks to the high degree of customisation. Some examples of applications are certainly industrial sectors, such as packaging, intralogistics and automotive industries, but also less industrial contexts such as snow cannons or the covering of swimming pools or trucks.
