Brushless motors stand out from standard DC motors because they are free from moving magnetic contacts. This feature has various advantages: a longer-lasting working life, high degree of efficiency, reduced size, and the possibility to control the motor using digital sensors.
The lack of moving contacts makes brushless motors extremely well suited to all applications where the presence of sparks constitutes a hazard, such as industrial automations and robotisations.
