In many industrial sectors, cleaning is a key factor. This applies to all applications in these sectors, and to all geared motors used. Similarly, in many sectors we find applications that must operate under harsh environmental conditions.
In both cases, the gear units must be protected. Specifically to meet this need, we designed and produced a washdown cover, which is equipped with a black anodized aluminum cover, an O-ring gasket and captive screws.
This cover, developed ad hoc, makes it possible to increase the life of the gearbox thanks to the increased protection against corrosion.
But it is not the only advantage: the shaft and oil seal are protected in all weather and operating conditions, reducing also the need for gear unit maintenance.
